Project Manager - F3 Wireless | Custom Wireless Products

About the role

F3 Wireless is looking for a Sr Project Manager to join our team. We are looking for an individual experienced in directing project teams, optimizing schedules, managing multiple projects, and building long-term relationships.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects
  • Manage all aspects of the project schedule.
  • All aspects of budget management, including keeping updated estimates to complete, keeping customer updated on spend and estimate to complete and managing overages and requesting updates to funding if the need arises
  • Managing project scope and communicating/negotiating any changes to scope
  • Managing and participating in product requirements definition and updates.
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to Director of Project Management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Hold regular project meetings with internal/external teams, in a remote work heavy environment

Requirements

  • Educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering for technical project managers
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of core project scheduling techniques
  • Strong understanding of product requirements creation and gathering
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Solid understanding of projecting and managing resource loading utilizing project schedule data
  • Experience managing and creating project estimates from team inputs
  • 5+ years of experience as a project manager
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Travel

Required travel is very limited and typically is less than 3% a year.

Location and hours

We have an office in Minneapolis MN, and this is a fully remote role.
