Custom wireless products for the Internet of Things — concept to volume production.

F3 designs, certifies, and manufactures the connected “thing” inside IoT, M2M, and telemetry products — from chip-level RF through embedded Linux and production test. We sell time to volume: turning a concept into a quality, sustainable, manufacturable product at a price point that scales.

21 employees, 24 including contractors, the large majority of them engineers. Based at 211 St. Anthony Parkway, Minneapolis, with our own RF laboratory on site.

Most of what goes wrong with a radio goes wrong before anyone reaches a test house. We find it here first, and we build the end-of-line test systems our customers’ contract manufacturers actually run.

1. End-to-end under one roof. Requirements through RF, firmware, mechanical, certification, production test, and CM management. No stitching together specialist vendors, and no gaps between them.
2. Time to volume. Decades of repeated cellular and wireless device launches give a predictable, schedule-driven path from concept to manufacturable product.
3. Reusable IP blocks. Production-proven building blocks — Foundation/MMA platform, FrameAnt antennas, SoftGPS, RF Field Strength Sensor, Test SIMs — cut custom development risk and cost.
4. Senior bench, structured mentoring. An RF lab plus in-house subject-matter experts and a junior pipeline, so capability scales without losing review quality.
5. Ecosystem partnerships. Active relationships with Taoglas, Ambiq, Digi-Key (RF engineering services partner), and ZARIOT (global IoT security and SIM).
